Thank you for visiting; I am Stan Dickinson, and this is the homepage for a blog that forms an important part of my BA Photography studies with the Open College of the Arts. Specifically, this is my ‘Learning Log’ for a Level Three Module entitled ‘Body of Work’. As the introductory notes say, the module will “… provide a framework for you to develop a photographic project over a sustained period of time …” and it aims “… to equip you with the skills you need to progress your ideas and technique into a coherent and eloquent visual outcome whilst being aware of where your personal practice is situated within the wider photographic industry …”

It is late November 2013 as I write this introductory note. The journey and the story will unfold over the next year or two, hopefully with some coherence and eloquence as time goes by!
